HAGINS WHITTLE

Officer Ruben Hagins served in the Marshal’s Office Officer Johnny Whittle served in the Marshal’s
from November of 2015 until he was suddenly taken Office from April of 2013 until he passed in July of

his life in service of others. He joined the Security to 1972. He became a staple of the Richmond
Division as a Control Room Operator to be our County Sheriff’s Office until he retired as a
eyes searching out threats and monitoring access Lieutenant in 2013. Still having a heart for service,
control throughout our judicial and municipal a love for being amongst his brothers and sisters
campuses. Officer Hagins had a kind spirit and a in blue, and a commitment to keeping people
contagious smile that was infectious to all who had safe, he joined the Security Division Screening
the opportunity to be around him. We take comfort Operation at the Augusta Judicial Center. There
in knowing that he is still watching over us all. was not a day he worked where he didn’t take the
time to speak to people as if he’d known them
