 Chief Probus began his distinguished law enforcement career in 1984 as a police officer with the Augusta   Colonel James Sabb, a proud native of Augusta, Georgia, is a 23-year veteran of the Richmond County
 Police Department. Over the past 41 years, he has served in various capacities with the Augusta Police   Marshal’s Office. Prior to his tenure with the Marshal’s Office, Colonel Sabb served 12 years in the
 Department, the CSRA Regional Police Academy, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, and the Richmond   United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of E-6. During his distinguished military career, he
