Augusta Fire Department’s Strategic
Direction for its Ideal Future
Augusta Fire Department’s ideal future is thoughtfully
expressed though its Vision Statement, which defines its
long-term aspirations and serves as an inspiration for
both external stakeholders and the department.
The Mission Statement clarifies the department's
fundamental purpose and outlines the strategic path it
will take over the next three years to realize that vision.
The Core Values are the principles that will guide the
department’s behavior and ensure accountability as it
strives to achieve that ideal future.
