              THE ADMINISTR ATIVE DIVISION
performs many crucial functions for the Marshal’s Office. Falling
within the purview of the ASD are Community Relations, Training, State
Certification, Background Investigation, and Internal Affairs. On any
given weekday, weeknight or weekend, you will find a member of this
Division at a school reading to the students or teaching a class on gun
safety. You may also find someone attending a community meeting to
share insight into a community problem or concern.

The Administrative Division also has some of the area’s most talented
and experienced trainers for a host of law enforcement subjects. They
internally teach all mandatory in-service topics as well as several
advanced and specialized topics. Division personnel perform several
pre-employment background investigations every year as well as a few
              Internal Affairs investigations.
