TO THE CITIZENS

Dear Citizens of Richmond County,

Once again I want to thank all of the citizens of Richmond County for the honor of serving as your Marshal. It is my mission to use
this office to serve our citizens in ensuring a cleaner and safer Augusta. 2022 was a year full of new initiatives for our agency, and I
am excited about the opportunities our city has ahead in 2023.

With a newly elected Mayor and a fresh slate of newly elected commissioners, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of
the previous elected officials for their service to our community and to welcome aboard those who will be leading us into the future.
I have reached out to Mayor Garnett Johnson, along with newly sworn Commissioners Wayne Guilfoyle, Tony Lewis, Alvin Mason
and Stacy Pulliam to personally offer them my support as they lead us forward. I am excited and optimistic that the city’s leadership
will work to unite us all toward the betterment of our community, and I pledge to do my part to work together with all of the elected
officials and department heads to collaborate and work as a team to improve the lives of our citizens. My team continues to forge
partnerships with our public and private stakeholders to achieve our mission of a cleaner and safer Augusta. We believe we are
building a future that will instill a sense of pride in our citizens for their city and for their leaders.

Finally, I want to thank all of the men and women of the Richmond County Marshal’s Office for their hard work and dedication. I
am proud of our team and all they do each day to help Augusta reach its fullest potential. I’m truly honored and humbled to be in the
company of professionals who believe so strongly in what they do, and who care so much about our community.
