MESSAGE FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR

On behalf of the Administrator’s Office, I am pleased to present the 2025 Augusta,
Georgia Government Annual Report, “Evolving Augusta.”
This year reflects focused leadership, strengthened operations, and a continued

commitment to fiscal responsibility. In the wake of Hurricane Helene, our office
prioritized long-term recovery planning, cost-recovery efforts, and organizational
coordination to ensure Augusta remained resilient and prepared for the future. Through

disciplined budgeting and strategic policy decisions, we addressed financial challenges
while advancing investments that support infrastructure, public safety, workforce
development, and service delivery across Richmond County.

Beyond recovery, we strengthened internal systems through strategic
planning, leadership development, and
enhanced accountability. These efforts
ensure our departments remain aligned,

efficient, and prepared to meet the
needs of our community. I extend my
sincere appreciation to the Mayor,
Commission, Directors, employees,

and community partners whose
collaboration continues to
move Augusta forward. As we
look ahead, we remain

committed to sound
governance, operational
excellence, and building a
strong foundation for the

next generation.
