Develop and provide mobile

Augusta’s employees work
throughout the community to
provide services and maintain
public spaces and infrastructure.
It is essential that employees can
communicate and access their
information wherever they are—
whether sitting at a desk, using
equipment out in the field, or
working remotely. This mobile
technology also enables staff to
take advantage of location-based
applications for asset manage-
ment and work order tracking.
Citizens also expect to be able to
access needed government
resources, submit 311 service
requests, and pay bills directly
from their smartphones. Secure,
convenient mobile services are
required for Augusta to provide
excellent customer service to
the public.
