DEFENSE
Our officers offer and provide training on Active Assailant Prevention and Response
to all employees of Augusta-Richmond County, as well as some non-governmental
organizations such as local businesses, churches and child care centers. With Active
Assailant events becoming so commonplace, we believe teaching our employees and
citizens how to identify potential threats by knowing common pre-event behaviors
and indicators, as well as teaching them the best response practices in the event of an
actual attack is crucial to preventing attacks or mitigating harm or loss of life.
