through education and community-based programming focused on health,
youth development, and agriculture. Family and Consumer Sciences
programming reached more than 7,000 residents through over 290

more than $90,000 annually.
Agriculture and Natural Resources programming also grew, with 167
active Master Gardener volunteers contributing over 4,700 service hours,
alongside continued educational outreach and media engagement.
Animal Services
Animal Services managed more than 5,000 animals in 2025, placing over
3,300 into homes through adoption efforts, community partnerships, and
expanded outreach.
The department investigated more than 5,600 complaints, issued
