With a collection exceeding 500,000 items and strong digital resources,
the library supported literacy, workforce development, and lifelong
                                        learning across all age groups.

                                    Augusta Extension
Augusta Extension expanded its impact across Augusta, Georgia, in 2025
through education and community-based programming focused on health,
youth development, and agriculture. Family and Consumer Sciences
programming reached more than 7,000 residents through over 290
sessions, promoting healthier lifestyles and financial stability.

Richmond County 4-H served nearly 2,000 youth through school-based
and after-school clubs, hosting 125 activities throughout the year. A major
milestone included securing dedicated program space at the former Willis
Foreman Elementary School, representing an in-kind investment valued at
                                        more than $90,000 annually.

Agriculture and Natural Resources programming also grew, with 167
active Master Gardener volunteers contributing over 4,700 service hours,
alongside continued educational outreach and media engagement.

hundreds of citations, and maintained a 99% conviction rate in animal
control cases, reinforcing accountability and community safety.

A newly approved ordinance, offsite adoption events, and business
partnerships further strengthened service delivery and community
                                        engagement.
